We’re looking forward to welcoming passengers on-board Fred Olsen’s Boudicca cruise liner which will be sailing into Fort William on Wednesday 28 September 2016. The Cruise ship is the first to sail into Fort William since the opening of the new pontoon at the West End car park, with five more cruises planning to visit in 2017.

Nevis Range is delighted to be offering mountain gondola trips as a shore excursion option for passengers on-board the Boudicca. Taking a gondola ride to 650m on the UK’s 8th highest mountain, Aonach Mor, is the perfect way to take in the spectacular scenery that Fort William has to offer. From the gondola top station, a 40 minute return walk to the Sgurr Finnisg-aig view point provides fantastic views of the Great Glen and the impressive overshadowing mass of Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis. Afterwards, enjoy a specialty coffee and home baking in the Snowgoose restaurant and bar with panoramic windows and a balcony overlooking Fort William and Loch Linnhe. A 15 minute journey back down the mountain by gondola will see visitors on their way to explore the rest of what Fort William has to offer.

We hope all passengers on-board the Boudicca enjoy their visit to Fort William on Wednesday, and we look forward to welcoming more cruise ship passengers next year.
