Weather impacts FW MTB World Cup event schedule

Due to adverse weather conditions, the Downhill World Cup Qualifying rounds have been postponed until tomorrow (Sunday 7 June) to ensure rider safety.

With strong winds and heavy rain on the Aonach Mor course, event organisers have moved the full Downhill competition with training, qualifying and finals taking place in an action packed Sunday.

Meanwhile, organisers are advising spectators that there is still a great line up of events taking place today, including Danny MacAskill’s Drop and Roll Tour showing how he has become an internet sensation, as well as the gravity defying BUFF® 4X Pro Tour set to get pulses racing.

Updates on tomorrow’s schedule will be communicated on-site and fans can also keep up-to-date with information through the Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup Twitter feed (@FW_MTB_WorldCup) and Facebook page.
